Most of you have followed my previous post about connecting to app store behind proxy and from the feedback and comments I was happy to hear that people were able to access app store and install apps. Still some people were not able to connect and some people connected but could not install apps. INSTANCE #1: Network icon in taskbar has yellow exclamation mark. Solution: Try to get rid of the yellow exclamation. Even if you can access internet from your browsers (say Internet Explorer) App store will not work. Follow the steps to get rid of exclamation mark. Step1: Change the internet proxy settings to some other proxy, which has internet access, from your room IP, which was in IE. Use 202.141.80.?? in IE. Step2: Then open command prompt (with ADMINISTRATOR privilege) and type           netsh winhttp import proxy source = ie Then the proxy will be changed to some proxy with internet access. Windows 8 was finally here. You can Download from software repository and install in your computer or you can Upgrade from your windows 7 OS. No need to mention the new features in windows 8 , I think you already know. It has a metro interface integrated with the start menu and various apps are available in the windows app store for the metroUI.
